Master (Renshi) Marvin Gunn

Former Canadian and US Karate tournament champion Master Marvin Gunn has won over 50 Karate Championships in the US and Canada alone in the area of Kumite " Fighting" and Kata.  He is a former karate cobra team member with over 27 years experience in the martial arts.  Nicknamed the "Cobra" sensei Marvin Gunn has given demonstrations at the Madison Square Garden, The NY State Fair, The Festival Of Nations, and many other places.  He has been listed in many local and national newspaper articles and was published in the book "Karate Power" by George Puruski and Frankie Mitchell.  In September of 2005 Master Master Marvin Gunn was promoted to the rank of Godan (5th degree black belt) in traditional Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate Do under the legendary World reknown Grandmaster John Roseberry ( Sho-Rei-ShoBu-Kan) and Master (Kyoshi) Frankie Mitchell.


Master (Renshi) Eric Washington

Eric Washington Sensei (a former Canadian Mei-bu-kan Goju Ryu Karate Champion & US karate competitor) has been in the martial arts since 1979 (over 26 years experience).  Sensei Eric Washington holds a BA degree in Psychology and has been teaching the martial arts privately since 1984.  Just recently, Sensei Eric Washington (after several years of hiatus from competition) competed at the Aaron Banks 34th Annual World United Nations Karate Championships taking 2nd place in the senior black belt kata division.  He was also (in September of 2005) promoted to the rank of Godan (5th degree black belt) in traditional Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate Do under the legendary Grandmaster John Roseberry (Sho-Rei-ShoBu-Kan) and Master (Kyoshi) Frankie Mitchell.


William L. Buchanen Sensei

William L. Buchanen Sensei  is the founder of the Yin Yang Black Belt Dojo and Co-Director of the North East Sho-Rei-ShoBu-Kan.  He is a former student of Master Peter Musacchio and Student of Grandmaster John Roseberry and Master Kyoshi Frankie Mitchell.  He has been doing martial arts for decades and has never given up his quest in teaching true traditional Goju Ryu Karate Do.
